You’ll recall we posted notices out in December advising that following a Fire Risk Assessment we were required to ensure a safe passage was maintained through the link corridors. Whilst this was already being achieved in many of the link corridors, there were a number where the placement of bicycles was obstructing or limiting egress.
In our Notice therefore (further copy attached), we advised that we were purchasing wall mounted cycle racks to enable safer storage of bicycles and to maintain the escape routes.
The installation of the cycle racks will commence on Thursday 9 March. As the contractors will need to drill through blockwork, there will inevitably be an element of noise and dust. Please bear with us as the works are likely to last a number of days.
