Wapping Quays Parking Permits and Visitor Passes 2024-2026

Important Information
Wapping Quays Residents Parking Passes 2024-2026

We are writing to inform you that all residents will be receiving 2 documents to their apartment: a new parking permit for use in their demised parking bay and a new visitor 3 day parking pass.

Both passes will last for 3 years from January 2024 – December 2026.

The new yellow residents parking permit and yellow 3 day visitor passes will formally come into force on 19th January 2024.

This should allow for all residents to familiarise themselves with the permits and passes and ensure that visitors are aware of the parking rules, it is the residents responsibility to ensure all visitors correctly complete the visitor parking pass to avoid a penalty notice.

Please keep an eye out for your apartments new passes and the explanation letter in your postboxes shortly.

  • Display the yellow residents parking permit in your car it is for use in your own parking bay only.
  • You can use the new yellow visitor pass as soon as you receive them.

Please note that after the 19th January all old visitor passes will no longer be valid and VCS will issue penalty notices to any vehicle displaying the wrong visitor parking pass.

The visitor parking pass should not be used as a second car parking pass. There are only 9 visitor parking spaces to meet the needs of all 114 apartments at Wapping so please consider all residents when issuing these for visitor use.

The visitor pass is for a 72 hour period (3 days) and cars should not just move to another part of the site, this is what the “no return for 72 hours” on the pass means

Full guidance regarding parking can be found in the Wapping Parking Policy and the Wapping Quays Handbook these also include guidance for contractors on site.

Both are available on the Wapping Quays website: wappingquays.co.uk all residents living at Wapping Quays are invited to register and join the site to receive information.

Replacement of lost parking permits and visitor passes can be arranged but there will be a cost attached to this.

Please note that if you rent out your apartment it is your responsibility to advise your tenants of these rules and you should ensure that you or your letting agents pass on the residents parking permit and visitor parking pass to the next tenant as these now cover a three year period.

Kind Regards
